Subject: Re: [Ql-Users] QL Today
not sure I understand this fully
is there to be no more QL Today magazines in printed form but a QL
Today in digital form or is QL Today a deceased QL Today a QL Today
no more......... in all forms.
having just returned to the QL Today fold I will be distraught, as a
half Scot even more so (have I had four volumes ?)
It may be some time before everyone receives their QL Today so for
certainty
the situation is that the current volume of QL Today will be the last.
Issue
4 will not be released until September to give us time to scan volumes 16
and 17 to give readers a CD or DVD of the last two volumes.
Please read Jochen's statement and my editorial carefully to
understand the
reasons we have taken this step.
QL Today will be no more, but there could be some form of replacement,
although not with the current QL Today team. However the economics are
against a printed magazine,
Best Wishes,
Geoff
PS Don't blame yourself, Norman. Without you and a handful of writers
- far
too few for long term survival - the magazine would have closed years
ago.
