I have a utility on https://sourceforge.net/projects/qxlwin/ which should allow anyone to extract any file from a QXL win file.
However, I've just checked and it appears I've never uploaded a compiled version. Oops! Like qstripper, it runs on Linux, Windows and if you have QT, on Mac if you compile the source yourself.
