Because I assume it will have to switch from whatever you're doing to S*Basic, load the keyboard_table, do the appropriate tra and then return back... how are you going to return back to the application if you don't know who called it? The only (reasonable) way I see it possible to be done with a thing, but I am the wrong person to do it :-) The other way is to trap all keystrokes... (Not very effective). The problem with a language like mine that you get a lot of mixed English with Greek which makes fast switching imperative. The hotkey method is not really effective and deters you from actually being able to type. You may not see it the point because of the latin characters that you are using but I am and it's not funny. I wish I had the greek rom right now. This was modified to accept the standard (at the time) combination CTRL-ALT-F1 (English), CTRL-ALT-F2 (Greek). All messages were in Greek and the keyboard was totally switchable... Phoebus P.S. I remind you that I don't have an SMSQ/E manual so whatever I know about hotkeys etc... have been learned through practice and trial and error... That's why my assumptions might (which I hope they are) wrong. >--- >Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
