I think you are correct Joachim, if my memory serves me well, which it normally does not, the '/' is on an ALT GR shift as well - probably the 7 key I think. This makes doing anything in unix a pain as you need three fingers to get at a single '/'.
I remember Paris, I went there once. It was cold and the streets were paved with something not unlike dog poo !
