Sorry about that. I will leave the www. off the email thread. I had grabbed the 'resent from' line. Looking back at all the emails I have kept, they are indeed without the 'www.'
By the way, it is interesting that I receive a lot more replies to this address 'modification' than I did to my original query :)
I'm not complain though. In fact, I got some very good answers and am now working on my disk scanning routines (part of the QDT installer).
Thanks for everyone's help!
Jim

I have no idea why the mailing list admin address has 'www' but it is important to send to the 'correct' address please.Actually the "correct" address is the one Jim used. This is true usually on Cobalt RaQ hosted systems (it's the default setting for majordomo) -as is mine - Either can work and both are correct but for historical reasons I personally stick to the ... @quanta.org.ukIt is not possible to route correctly if we use two addresses. All email to date has been to [EMAIL PROTECTED] except that one from Jim. If you use two addresses, then I will get two entirely separate mailing lists here with split threads (8-(# OK Bruce was worng to tell us to use '@quanta.org.uk' but can we carry on with that one only please. -- QBBS (QL fido BBS 2:252/67) +44(0)1442-828255 tony@<surname>.co.uk http://www.firshman.co.uk Voice: +44(0)1442-828254 Fax: +44(0)1442-828255 TF Services, 29 Longfield Road, TRING, Herts, HP23 4DG
