MERGE and MRUN can't be used in a compiled program.

I don't know about Q-Slaverator but Turbo has facilities to do just that :-)

The Turbo manual (2nd edition 1986) says: 'Thus commands such as LIST,MERGE?LRUN AND SO ON ARE MEANINGLESS - they work with superBasic text, not compiled machine-code'
