Lots of good vibes from everyone and pretty positive thinking as well! Just a couple of points - if it was organised for a UK venue then no problem for myself and / or others to arrange. Eindhoven is a good venue but do we have organiser/s over there? Some comment would be appreciated, especially from more of our continental friends. Price-wise, I hope to have some idea of a ballpark figure for Portsmouth by some time next week. The idea of a 'poll' is excellent - maybe an insert in Quanta / QL Today for August / September would give a better idea of preferred venue. Even though that takes a couple of months it would not stop provisional arrangements to be pursued with confirmation in October/November this year. Is it too late for Jochen to provide a form for insertion into QL Today?  On another point it will be sad to lose you Geoff although I can understand your reasoning, but Hey! can't you delay until AFTER Oct 2004? regards to all Roy B
