Hi all,

I built and uploaded 0.18.2/svn 2111 packages for Mac OS X PPC and Intel,
including the small endianess fix I posted a few minutes ago (so, it's not
*strictly* svn 2111; I hope you don't mind, Oliver!).

A few remarks:

One 10.4 ppc user noticed that on the ppc gdal had a broken dependency against
libcurl which for some reason lives on my box in /usr/lib. Thus, I re-built
the 'helpers' package, this time *wtih* optimisation, but without the gdal
dependencies against libcurl and sqlite3. Please tell me if you think this is
a bad idea.

I also re-built the Intel helpers package which /should/ now be compatible with
10.4.

In any case, I highly recommend to install ver. 1.1.0 of the helpers on both
PPC and Intel boxes.

I have no idea how gpsd can be installed and used on OS X, and if it necessary
at all. Thus, I have not idea if this new feature could be used on OS X. Any
insight would be appreciated.

Best, Albrecht.
