Hi all, finally, I have uploaded new binary packages of QLandkarte GT 1.1.2 for Mac OS X - please excuse the long delay, I have been packed with "real life" work.
Below is a summary of noteworthy points. New Helpers Package =================== A new version of the "Mac OS X Helpers and Libraries" *must* be installed. The package contains a new dependency for QLandkarte GT (libjpeg), and the latest version of the gdal library. The latter has been compiled with curl support which makes all web formats, including wms and wcs, available to gdal. Please load the version for your platform from <http://sourceforge.net/projects/qlandkartegt/files/Mac%20OS%20X%20Helpers%20and%20Libraries/Mac%20OS%20X%20Helpers%20and%20Libraries%201.1.2/>. *After* installing this package, you can install QLandkarte GT, available from <http://sourceforge.net/projects/qlandkartegt/files/qlandkartegt/QLandkarteGT%201.1.2/>. Installer issues ================ As there has been some confusion about the "right" package, all images now have the target platform (Intel or PPC) in their names, and the installer refuses to install on the "wrong" platform. Sorry for the confusion! Display Artefacts ================= On Mac OS X 10.5, artefacts appear when dark lines of vector maps (Garmin TDB) are plotted on light background. Interestingly, this effect does not appear on Mac OS X 10.4. As I cannot test Mac OS X 10.6, it would be great if you could report any experiences with this version, both good or bad. Mac OS X 10.4 on Intel ====================== I re-built everything to /theoretically/ support Mac OS X 10.4 on Intel platforms, but I could not check if the result really runs, or still throws things like bus errors.
