Hello,

Being able to save TCX files is a feature that would be very interesting
for Garmin users. They could draw a course/track in QLandkarteGT, save
it as .tcx file and then upload it to their Forerunner to run that
course against Garmin's Virtual Partner.

Up until now, the best solution that I have found to create self-made
.tcx files is to draw a course and save it as .gpx, then transform it
online at http://www.gpsies.com/convert.do to a .tcx file that I can
then upload to my Forerunner.

From http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/QLandkarteGT I learn that QLandkarteGT
has support for *reading* TCX files. For as far as I know, currently it
is not possible to *save* to a TCX file.

Are there any plans to also support *saving* TCX files? If 'yes', I
also think it would be a nice feature if users could optionally say at
what speed they want to complete the track (just as you can do online at
http://www.gpsies.com/convert.do ) Setting a speed allows easy
integration with Garmin's Virtual Partner technology. If speed is not
saved correctly in the .tcx file, the whole Virtual Partner thing
doesn't make sense.

Kind regards,
Bart
