Uwe, which model of Garmin device do you use? 
Where can I download mtbgermany
 you use? I can try to reproduce your issue on my Garmin Oregon 200.

Generally, you don't need Qlandkarte GT for that task.

You can use also free Garmin MapInstall to do the task

Thanks Peter, but unfortunately none of these works for me. The

gmapsupp.img just does not appear in the list of available cards on the

device.

I tried to play around with the family-id but it does not work out

either. Maybe someone could explain how QLGT is running the export

behind the scenes?
