Hi Oliver,
sorry, I'm not asked for a device root path.
After clicking "OK" I directly get a window with a preselection list
containing entries from former tries (names without path information).
In the bottom area of the window I'm asked to enter a subdirectory name
by hand alternatively. If I provide complete path information in that
line, the window closes without action. 

I meanwhile found the stored data on my PC file system. It is a
"reasonable" and unique storage location, so I probably was able to set
the root path when using V1.6.0; I do not remember that.
