All the migration instructions will require you to use backups of your
data so you can import it to a new location.
At the time of service discontinuation, backups of the data were
generated and placed in your project's home directory"
So it seems Sourceforge should have made back-ups of the Mediawiki
content.

But unfortunately that's only a very small part of the overall Wiki.
Maybe some other people have created some personal backups as well?

The lesson learned: Never store documentation into anything else than
text files. An make sure to edit the files on your system
exclusively.
I can't tell if I find the time and energy to revoke the wiki again.
Thus for the time being it is offline.
