I am having a problem running Qlandkarte on my Mac. I strongly suspect that
the problem is in my Qlandkarte settings.

The problem is that when I view a group of waypoints from a .gpx file using
Qlandkarte all waypoints appear to be translated by a uniformly equal distance
to the west, or sometimes to the northwest.

My Mac has a 2.4 GHz Intel Core I5 processor and is running the Mac OSX
operating system 10.7.5.

I am using the latest version of Qlandkarte for OSX (version 1.7.5) for Intel
processors. The projection settings (found by clicking on the wrench icon on
the lower right corner of the Qlandkarte window) are [+proj=longlat
+datum=WGS84] and for the current map [+proj=utm +datum=NAD27].

The .gpx file was generated on a Garmin Etrex 20 GPS device with map datum set
to WGS84.

I would appreciate any insight anyone could give me as to what my problem is.

 Sincerely,

 Janie O'Rourke
