Hi Oliver, I used the garmin driver from Ubuntu 14.04 distro.
Today I compiled the Garmin driver from http://sourceforge.net/p/qlandkartegt/code/HEAD/tree/GarminDev/trunk/ and now it's o.k. BTW, the string for svn checkout on above page isn't right.
