Hi

lower the opacity slider and the hillshading slider a bit. As you have
noticed the QMS algorithm shows more details. This is because it uses a
more complex algorithm and covers the complete area. QLGT darkened south
eastern slopes only with a threshold and a very simple color table. The
rest was transparent. QMS also shades the north western slopes. But now
you have an overlay that is influencing each pixel's brightness, making
the colors a bit dull. You won't get rid of that, but you can enhance
the situation a bit by playing with the opacity and the hillshading
slider. Especially the opacity slider should be lower.
