You have to install the development package, too.
And I am not sure what version of Routino is packaged with ubuntu. It has to be
the
current svn version. To get it do in a temporary path in your home:
svn co http://routino.org/svn/trunk routino
cd routino
make
sudo make install
This will install everything into /usr/local and might conflict with the
official installation
that goes into /usr. You can adjust the path in Makefile.conf.
