Hello Christian, hello Oliver,

I found some more information about my problem:

When trying to create a new qms type project with name "t" QMS tries to
access a folder with last path name "t" (c:\..\..\t). The c:\..\.. part is a
folder with full read/write access which I use quite often (I save here from
time to time GPX files from QMS projects), the "t" subfolder is a
"temporary" folder with changing content not related to QMS.

Now, I take the name of a sibling subfolder of "t" never used in QMS as
project name. Surprising result: A new project with this subfolder name
can't be created!

Where does the QMS attempt to access some of my folders come from? Why does
this happen when creating a new project?

By the way: I check regularly for virusses.

Strange - isn't it?

My system: Windows 7, SP 1, 64 bit.

I'll compile the latest QMS version soon and try it.

Wolfgang
