Sounds like a cache problem. Subdirectory would be fine if Bitbucket would allow this concept from it's GUI. Afaik it does not. That is why all *.md files are clobbered in the root path. But we can move the files into a subdirectory by Hg. And I will move unlinked files to it in the future. I would suggest another page "playground" that references these files until they are mature.
