Have you tried out Qmapshake?​I went to reopen QLGT.

To assign the elevation data to a track, in addition to assigning a DEM
file to the map, you must access the track "edit" window and then use the
"replace elevation data" function.
But if you say that until "yesterday" worked, I can think that the DEM file
is not accessible, perhaps moved or deleted?
