But with the latest version of QMapShack under OSX, there
is NO "Setup Waypoint Icons" under Menu->Workspace!!!

it should be the same for all OS.
You can setup the path with:
Menu->Workspace->Setup Waypoint Icons->Toolbutton with blue folder.
The icons have to be *.bmp or *.png files.
