I compiled with Debian 10 (Buster/Testing) and it worked fine. proj4 5.2.0 is
included in Buster, so no need for extra repositories.

Hi,
I just pushed a fix in the root cmake file that tests for Debian and if Debian
is detected the source is patched. I can't test it on a Debian system as I don't
have one right at hand. So please give feedback if it fails.
The fix will expire end of year 2020. I hope by then it's not necessary
anymore.
Cheers

Hello all:
I have managed to compile QMS in linux Mint 19.
This distribution has the proj package in the 4.9 version , it does not work for
the current QMS.
Adding the repo ubuntu-gis unstable the proj package is automatically updated
to version 5.2 which is already valid for QMS.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntugis/ubuntugis-unstable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
The compiler will still have the quazip error that can be fixed with the
findqazip5 patch shared by Sebastiaan Couwenberg, thanks Sebastiaan :-)
I attach the file that creates the patch for people who, like me, do not know
how to apply it. Put in cmake / modules.
Javi
