Using TLS with POP3?

I know that qmail-ldap supports TLS over SMTP but I did not found any hint if it
also supports TLS over POP3. Is it possible to do TLS over POP3 as decribed in
RFC 2595 or is this maybe a planed feature? I think that both together would be
a good match.
If TLS with POP3 is not available yet there also might be the possibility using
a ssl wrapper like stunnel together with qmail-ldap (qmail-pop3d). Is there
anybody who has experiences in such a project?
