Solaris Runtime Error

New to Solaris 2.6. I installed the following packages before compiling the
qmail system on an Ultra5 running Solaris 2.6:

*       Gcc-2.95.3
*       Libpng-1.0.2
*       Make-3.76.1
*       Patch-2.5

When I start qmail using /usr/local/sbin/qmail start, I got the following
error.

Qmail-rspawn: cannot find /usr/lib/ld.so.1
Qmail-clean: cannot find /usr/lib/ld.so.1
.
.
.

I have checked that the /usr/lib/ld.so.1 is there. What else should I check?
Appreciate any suggestion to solve this problem.
