of course! however, smtp-auth doesn't authenticate to anything.
checkpassword and friends do.
I've written a patch to the latest qmail-ldap v20010501 based on
qmail-smtp-auth v0.30. They did a lot to the base64 stuff so it doesn't
'hook' into qmail-ldap's base64 stuff and hence, is rather redundant,
but it works for me.
