My user's get sometimes bounces containing an empty error message,
sometimes the mail is delivered correctly, sometimes not (maybe it works
every time)
I believe it could be TLS; i've got these problems since qmail-ldap-20010301
(with controls, auth-smtp, dash-trick patches)
It occurs only with certain mail hosts:
220 UTMEM2.UTMEM.EDU -- Server ESMTP (PMDF V6.0-24#46457)
220 pigpen.bl.physik.uni-muenchen.de ESMTP Sendmail 8.11.3/8.11.3
(this is mailhost.physik.uni-muenchen.de)
220 mail.camelot.de ESMTP Sendmail 8.11.2/CameloT;
All three of them offer STARTTLS, ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES etc.
I can't find another TLS supporting host in order to test my suscpicion that
the problems are due to tls.
Did i forget something?
(when i connect to the server via smtp and mozilla encryption works, mozilla
gives me the site certificate to accept; so qmails does find the
certificate)
