Try to locate your libldap.so library (/usr/local/lib ?) and do a ldd of
the libldap.so (search for unresolved libraries).
qmail-ldap does not use atexit so it is a more OpenLDAP issue.
On linux and Mac OS X atexit is in libc, what is your OS type?
