Hi,
I'm having a strange problem:
installed qmail + ldap patch (20010301). It works just fine !!
patched it with the controls patch (20010410) and...
after having transferred all the control files in the ldap database, the
config reported by qmail-showctl is exactly the same !! (apart from the
LDAP Control DN line..)
but, when launching qmail, (it does several lookups on the ldap server)
and prints :
==> /var/log/qmail/current <==
@400000003b1ce361200987cc alert: cannot start qmail-lspawn or it had an
error! Check if ~control/ldapserver exists.
in the logfile. (w/ debuglevel set to 511 !! without the control patch,
i get a very verbose log. with the control patch, just a line...)
Also, when trying qmail-ldaplookup, i get a core dump!
As far as i understand, qmail gets something from the ldap server, but i
must have something misconfigured ??
btw: for local reasons, i had to install qmail under /home/qmail instead
of /var/qmail... does this have something related to my problem ??
