Not a newbie at all - just a frustrated user trying to figure out some
bizaare behavior with a qmail server that keeps on failing.

Done that many times. The document seems to focus the most on setting up
the server, not troubleshooting it. This server has long since been set
up, it's just not reliable.

I was hoping to hear if anyone had had anything like this before who
could point me in the right direction without giving reams of technical
details.
The plot thickens though. I repeatedly sent emails to a known email
address in the LDAP server. These messages kept bouncing with "Sorry, no
mailbox here by that name.", when suddenly the emails started to arrive
fine. There was no change made to the object in the LDAP server at any
time.
Does this ring any bells? I am using qmail-ldap-1.03-20010301 right now
- is this version ok or are there known problems with it?
