I have made a patch (a very simple one) to Brian Wightman's qmail_bounce,
that does a ldap lookup on the senders email address and checks that a
attribute called "delayNotification" is set to "always", if it is not the
sender will not receive the delay notification. For whatever your reason
(mine is listed in the
readme), this will allow you to easily control who does and doesn't get
delay notification emails. This patch is up at
http://muspellsheim.net/software/qmail_bounce/index.html now.

I have also written a perl script that allows you to decide when to start
and stop the auto replier (by checking a start and stop attribute in ldap
and changing deliverymode to the correct setting). This isn't up yet, but
could be in about an hour's notice if anyone actually wanted it.

Both of these are perl scripts and I am in the process of learning perl, so
I am very open to suggestions. Any feedback, perl tips, etc. would be
greatly apprenticed.

Thanks,
Kenny Austin
