Hi folks, After having fun with the qmail-ldap-controls patch, I've just gotten around to playing with mailReplyText and qmail-reply. I have it working great except for a problem with the envelope sender address used. qmail-reply insists on sending the responses from :- "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"@cetus.eclipse.net.uk where [EMAIL PROTECTED] is the responder, and cetus.eclipse.net.uk is the qmail-ldap box. Our main relay (running Postfix) strips out the quotes causing the address, when forwarded on, to become :- [EMAIL PROTECTED]@cetus.eclipse.net.uk which get's rejected by most sites (including most of our other mail servers) due to relay controls. Can anyone suggest where to start looking to change the envelope sender? The "From:" header in the body is set correctly. Regards and thanks in advance, James. PS: I have discussed this previously on the postfix-users list, to find out that it's a work-around for Sendmail problems and not configurable :-(
