Deliver to the right maildir

Hi!

I have set up qmail with the ldap patch. 

My pop3d authenticates against the ldap directory and kan read the maildir.
But when i send a message to the MTA the message never gets delivered to the
users Maildir. I can see that the message gets to
/var/qmail/queue/mess/something/34535     but why does it stop there?

i can�t find anything in the manual?!?
