Dear John,
I have OpenLDAP configured on two machines, one master and the other
slave. Use DNS round-robin mechanism to access them. I used to have
one copy of OpenLDAP under the control of kimberlite
(http://www.missioncriticallinux.com) but I find the current setup
better.
Another two machines are running Qmail-LDAP simultaneously and are located
behind a highly available load balancer built using a linux virtual server
kernel patch (http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/).
Maildirs are accessed using either pop or imap (courier imap) and are
located on an external storage with two scsi controlers. the filesystems
on it are not mounted by both the systems though which bothers me a bit.
I have them mounted on one system and exported to another using NFS which
I'd love to change. How would you guys do it? Heard of GFS? Would
it be _the right_ solution?
Regards,
Tomas
