Thanks for your reply.

I didn't notice that local mail didn't work.  Do I really need it?  None 
of my users will be on the machine.

151 is for the vmail user.  That user owns the maildir so that all of 
the mail is written under a single virutal user.

Now that I have smtpd working, I can send mail to it and it works.  Now 
I just need to play with it more.

Do you have a pop server you recommend?
