Well, I've done all I can to try and recall indexes or digests of articles from this list, but to no avail.
So, I hope I'm not duplicating a recent thread. With the 20010501 patch, I got everything working superbly except for the .qmail-* files in a homeDirectory of a user. Perhaps I'm simply missing a single setting, but as things stand, this is how I have it all configured: The LDAP entry for the user I'm working with: dn: [EMAIL PROTECTED], o=Geeks Anonymous, c=CA cn: Slepp Lukwai sn: Lukwai objectClass: top objectClass: person objectClass: inetOrgPerson objectClass: qmailUser mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailAlternateAddress: [EMAIL PROTECTED] uid: slepp homeDirectory: /mail/store/slepp/ mailMessageStore: /mail/store/slepp/Maildir/ In the control files, I have the following items setup: ldapdefaultdotmode: both ldapgid: 2000 ldapuid: 2000 ldaplocaldelivery: 0 ldapmessagestore: /mail/store ldaprebind: 1 In the homeDirectory I have a number of .qmail-* files for various addresses, primarily to move mail into other Maildir storage boxes. All the .qmail files are owned by 2000.2000 and I've tried both modes of 644 and 600 on the files. I've also tried such items as just .qmail-default and .qmail-testing, all to no success. Is there a configuration setting I'm merely missing, or was this functionality not working right in the 20010501 patch? If you read my prior message to this one, I am unable to get the latest patch to apply to the source so I can't use the -DDASH_EXT define on compile. I haven't yet ran the server with debugging enabled. -- | Stephen "Slepp" Olesen / VE6SLP | Edmonton, Alberta, Canada / (780) 425-4798 | President of Geeks Anonymous + http://www.geeksanon.ca/ +---------------------------------
