ok, i recently switched from openldap-2.0.7 to openldap-2.0.7-sasl (from
openbsd ports) where qmail-ldap was working flawlessly before (thanks to
all the developers!!), now i'm getting this:

cannot start qmail-lspawn or it had an error! Check if ~control/ldapserver
exists.

a recompile with the new openldap in place is giving me no relief. can
anyone shed light on my issue? i'm thinking that it is a problem with
qmail-ldap forgetting how to talk to an ldap directory due to lib
funkyness.

loki:~ # uname -a
OpenBSD loki 2.9 LOKI#3 i386

qmail-1.03
qmail-ldap-1.03-20010802-i.patch
smtp-auth-20010801.patch
dashext-20010801.patch

let me know if you need more info.

also, any word on when the next full (non-interm) release might be?

thanks,

michael
