Try to find out why your system is searching /usr/lib/dld.sl and where the hell it is. I never worked on HPUX and therefor I do not know how to fix those shared lib problems. I have written a shared lib section in http://www.lifewithqmailldap.org/ldap read it and try to adapt it to your system ("man" is your friend). Perhaps you can also try to link qmail-ldap with gcc -static also check how you start the pop3 server (is SHLIB_PATH set? As example qmail normaly dumps the environment befor starting up (/var/qmail/rc) ) PS: Please do not send core dumps or other big stuff to the mailing list, if someone needs the info he will contact you offlist. -- :wq Claudio
