Anyone have actual experience getting a pop-before-smtp solution going? We're helping someone where a previous consultant got relay-ctrl partly installed, but it doesn't seem to work. I tried installing smtp-poplock, and a test script, when run directly from the shell (i.e. typing in USER and PASS from the terminal) works fine--I can see the ip address being added to the authorized list. But when I modify the actual pop3 script to add the before- and after- passes around the user authorization, it doesn't seem to do anything.
