For the purpose that the original poster was positing (mailbox
non-existent, IIRC), it's (quoting from RFC 2821):
550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable
(e.g., mailbox not found, no access, or command rejected
for policy reasons)
badrcptto, OTOH, uses (for obvious reasons):
553 Requested action not taken: mailbox name not allowed
(e.g., mailbox syntax incorrect)
