Dear all, I am struggling to get messages with attachments larger than roughly 100KB delivered through the Checkpoint's SMTP gateway. Sending such a message directly to the machine running Qmail works fine just as well as sending it throuh the SMTP gateway to a machine runing sendmail which leaves me thinking what's wrong for hours now. Is it the Checkpoints gateway, tcpserver or Qmail.
During a small mail message delivery i get the following logged by tcpserver and qmail-send respectively: -- tcpserver: status: 1/200 tcpserver: pid 28327 from 15.188.33.201 tcpserver: ok 28327 :15.188.33.254:25 :15.188.33.201::1053 tcpserver: end 28327 status 0 tcpserver: status: 0/200 new msg 458696 info msg 458696: bytes 21842 from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> qp 28328 uid 502 starting delivery 1: msg 458696 to local [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: local 1/10 remote 0/20 delivery 1: success: did_1+0+0/ status: local 0/10 remote 0/20 end msg 458696 -- During te delivery attempt of a message with say a 100KB attachment or larger I only get an update to the tcpserver log file which says the following: -- tcpserver: status: 1/200 tcpserver: pid 28331 from 15.188.33.201 tcpserver: ok 28331 :15.188.33.254:25 :15.188.33.201::1054 tcpserver: end 28331 status 256 tcpserver: status: 0/200 -- No updates to the qmail-send log file. Is there a way to log the complete SMTP communication. How do I log the qmail-smtpd activity? Thanks in advance for all replies. Regards, Tomas
