It does not answer about an unknown user, but about an unknown mailbox ;) Sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.1.1) Do you have a catchall (default) account in this domain (eg. [EMAIL PROTECTED])? What does your logfile say about this when you send an email to an unknown user?
