Hio,
today I played a little with qmail-ldap 20011001a to get deeper into it,
before setting it up on our main-boxes. :)
I've enabled -DDASH_EXT in Makefile (besides adding -lresolv and
enabling MDIRMAKE and HDIRMAKE):
LDAPFLAGS=-DDASH_EXT
And installed as described in QLDAPINSTALL and/or
http://lifewithqmail.org/ldap/
While testing the local delivery as described in TEST.deliver I was able
to send to a user:
dn: uid=test, ou=customers, dc=domain, dc=de
cn: A. N. Onymous
sn: Onymous
objectClass: top
objectClass: person
objectClass: inetOrgPerson
objectClass: qmailUser
mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
mailAlternateAddress: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
mailMessageStore: test/
uid: test
userPassword: forget it :)
using
echo to: test | /var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject
but
echo to: test-anything | /var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject
gave me a bounce "Sorry,_no_mailbox_here_by_that_name._(#5.1.1)"
Perhaps someone can point me where to look why that is not working?
I've searched the list-archive a little, but I am a little tired in
reading DOCs after one day of qmail-ldap ;) - So if this is a
FAQ/DOC-Problem just RTFM me in the right direction.

PS: To do TEST.deliver 8. "Group membership test" I have to set
qmailDotMode/ldapdefaultdotmode to both and put the .qmail-groups into
/var/qmail/maildirs/test while using the lifewithqmail-ldap
