Weird...I think we've fixed this. I had smtpgreeting set to smtp.midco.net, 
which doesn't resolve to the machine that mail was being delivered to. So I 
just deleted the smtpgreeting attribute, and mail started getting delivered.
I'm not an expert on SMTP - does anyone know why this only affected Exchange and
Lotus Notes MTAs?
