Hello: perhaps they are beginner's questions, but I cannot advance, somebody can help me with these problems: 1. This installed the qmail-ldap. 2. I have configured the qmail-ldap with qmail-conf and you this executing with daemon-tools. 3. According to "live with qmail-ldap" I have installed auth_pop instead of checkpassword. 4. I make the tests with "echo to: xxxxx | /var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject" for the accounts of the system and those that alone they are in LDAP and they usually receive the messages.
I have 1 problems: a) When one attempts the validation of an user (of the system or of LDAP) by means of POP, the error "-ERR Authorization failed" is shown.. The used account is correct and the password also. Does somebody know the solution to this problem? Jose Aguero
