The reason that I made the archive at 
http://www.suares.nl/qmail-ldap/archive searchable, was that when I wanted to look 
something up 
that I knew someone (Henning mostly ;-) had explained, I could not find it using the 
threads.

In my first try at indexing the archive, the engine indexed also the references to the 
previous 
and next message, which gave a LOT of false hits. I modified mailman/HyperArch to 
include some 
tags so htdig would not search those references. Now I am pretty sure I can find 
whatever I 
want even inside broken threads.

But when that message I find reads just:

"Yes, you have to set <variable>"

without qouting why and how etc, then I am lost, especially when threading is 
broken... so, 
please quote (more or less) properly, it helps people...
