Hi there,

I have a weird problem concerning qmail-ldaplookup... If I run
`qmail-ldaplookup -m <mail>` the query that's been sent to the ldap
server looks like
 '(|(mailLocalAddress=<mail>)(mailAlternateAddress=<mail>))'
returning no results 'cos there's no mailLocalAddress attributeType in
the qmailUser schema... running the same command on another machine with
exactly the same qmail-ldap returns the desired results 'cos the query
looks like
'(|(mail=<mail>)(mailAlternateAddress=<mail>))'

I don't know how qmail-send queries the ldap tree, does it use -u or -m?
In case it's -u <username> everything should work just well, 'cos I have
mail == uid for all users in the ldap-tree...

I haven't changed anything in the qmail-ldap source, just recompiled a
patched (and working) qmail-ldap source from another installation...
However, the most funny thing is, I really didn't changed a thing in
control entry or somewhere else and it _did_ work few hours before. So
that's my next question: is there a possibility to change the filter
that's beeing passed by qmail-ldaplookup in runtime?

TIA,
igor
