Actually... No. qmail-pop3d also supports auto-maildir, and auth_(pop|imap) support auto-home. Anyway, regarding this issue... Andre... shouldn't a "forwardonly" user just forward it's mails to mailForwardingAddress, and ignore .qmail? I remembered this issue because homedirs are created even for forwardonly users... And I've had problems with legacy (i.e. forgotten) .qmails lying around in some accounts which were "downgraded" to forwards.
