don't cut and paste base64 in the ldif. use :< instead.

dn: uid=foobar, ou=People, o=Foobar
cn: Foobar
...
mailReplyText:< /path/to/some/file
...

then ldapadd or ldapmodify. the contents of the file will be
correctly base64 encoded.
