I setted chmod 755 to *gdbm files in my openldap-data directory, so it seems
that everybody can access.
after qmail-ldaplookup the ldap server writes down ths log

        Maybe the user that qmail is binding to LDAP haven't permission to read
passwords.
        The best way to find out, is looking the OpenLDAP logs at the moment of
qmail-ldaplookup.
