just went to the QLDAPNEWS and apparently there isn't any other way than to modify qmail-ldap.h and change the "homeDirectory" entry to "NoHomeDirectory" (or anything else invalid)... I'd rather have a configure option in the makefile - but since that doesn't seem to be possible, i guess i'll have to stick with this solution... bye Timm
